The Flag of Angus is the official banner representing Angus, one of the 32 council areas of Scotland, United Kingdom. The flag features a gold or yellow St. Andrew’s saltire on a field of dark blue. The design symbolizes the historical connection between Angus and Scotland as both share the same patron saint, Saint Andrew. The Flag of Angus was officially adopted in 2007 following a local competition to create a distinct emblem for the region.
