The Flag of Heinsberg, Germany, is a heraldic banner that represents the municipal district of Heinsberg, North Rhine-Westphalia. This flag is not to be confused with the national or state flags of Germany. It consists of five horizontal stripes in the colors of red, white, black, and two yellow (or gold). The red stripe occupies the topmost position, followed by the white, black, second yellow, and finally, the first yellow stripe at the bottom. This design reflects the coat of arms of Heinsberg, where the first and last yellow stripes represent the County of Jlich, and the red, white, and black stripes symbolize the Duchy of Berg. The flag was officially adopted in 1986 to promote a sense of local identity within the district.
