The Flag of Mykolaiv Oblast is the official symbol representing the administrative region in southern Ukraine known as the Mykolaiv Oblast, or administrative center Mykolaiv. Adopted in 2001, the flag features three horizontal bands of equal width: blue (top), yellow, and green (bottom). The center of the yellow band bears a black inverted trident, a symbol associated with Ukraine. This design reflects the regional and national identity of Mykolaiv Oblast within the larger Ukrainian republic.
