The Flag of Pskov Oblast, Russia, is a rectangular banner divided into three horizontal sections, representing the historical division of the region. The top and bottom sections are light blue, symbolizing the Pskov River that runs through the oblast, while the middle section is white. The flag’s design incorporates elements from the coat of arms of Pskov, featuring a golden double-headed eagle, known as Orlovitsa, in the center of the white field. This flag was officially adopted on March 15, 2003, and serves as a symbol of regional identity for the Pskov Oblast, one of Russia’s federal subjects located in the northwest part of the country.
