The “Truck Transportation Boy Scout Merit Badge” is an achievement awarded to Boy Scouts who demonstrate knowledge and skills related to the transportation of goods by truck. This badge covers topics such as the history, safety regulations, and mechanics of large trucks. To earn this merit badge, scouts must also participate in a ride-along with a professional truck driver and complete a project involving planning and executing a mock truck delivery. The goal is to provide scouts with an understanding of the importance and complexity of the truck transportation industry.
